Data Dictionary

The following keys could be included in any of our API calls.

Ratings

Key	Description
symbol	The symbol of the U.S. equity (or cryptocurrency)
user_id	The unique ID of the ClosingBell member.
rating	The rating on a scale of 1 - 5. 1 = strong sell 2 = sell 3 = hold (neutral) 4 = buy 5 = strong buy
action	The action for the rating. 1 = initiated 2 = upgraded 3 = downgraded 4 = reiterated
prediction	The price target as a percentage at the time of posting. A prediction of 5.00 would be 5% upside potential.
tally_agree	The number of members who agreed with the rating.
tally_disagree	The number of members who disagreed with the rating.
tally_comment	The number of members who commented on the rating.
created_at	A UNIX timestamp that denotes when the rating was created.
expired_at	A UNIX timestamp that denotes when the rating expires.

Rating Aggregates

Key	Description
r1 - r5	The rating on a scale of 1 - 5. See rating above.
a1 - a4	The action for the rating. See action above.
avg_rating	The average rating of a stock on a given day.
avg_prediction	The average prediction of a stock on a given day, as a percentage.

Lookups

Key	Description
user_id	The unique ID for the user on the messaging platform.
group_id	The unique ID for the group on ClosingBell.
platform	The platform used: slack or discord
